May 14th, 5:53pm: Mom is well, baby is well. Everyone is a little tired from a long first day. Jake is just over a day old right now ... only about 10 minutes old in the pictures below. We haven't seen a lot of his eyes yet, too much crying and sleeping so far. More pictures to follow, right now I just wanted to get something up for the family to see.

May 15th, 5:42pm: Jake is only two days old, but it seems like he's been here a lot longer. Guess that is what happens when you are awake most of the time! Feed for an hour or so, change diapers, fetch ice and drinks for Mom, see nurse, see another nurse, try to sleep unsuccessfully - just in time for for another nurse to check vitals and then it is time to feed Jake again. Of course Mom has the difficult job ... I'm sitting back and watching mostly, and changing diapers.

We're all in the hospital until sometime Tuesday if all goes as planned. *crossfingers*
